Mysterious Gmail Invitation
When I got home last night my daughter, Erin, asked me if I had heard of Gmail. I told that I had and that I wished that I had an account. Well she replied that she had one. I asked here who invited her, since the only way I had heard of getting one was by receiving an invitation from someone who already had one. She said that she went to Google looking for something and there was a link on the Google front page offering Gmail accounts. We looked at that link was gone.
Nevertheless, she did have a functioning Gmail account and she had 10 invites. I showed her how to use them by inviting myself. I now have a Gmail account, but I cannot find any invites. Oh, well.
