Trying Out Obsidian

I have gone through a lot of note taking apps, but none of them have stuck. I used Evernote and OneNote each of which is good at collecting info from the web, or pdfs or photos. I did not find either one good at writing my notes. I have used outliners and markdown editors. I have tried Apple Notes, which is decent, but none has done a good job of getting me organized. Obsidian look like it has potential, so I am trying it out.
